Why North Richland Hills Needs Blake Vaughn:

"Conversations and opinions that differ from my experience living in NRH are always welcome-- and necessary. I want to hear the narrative of all residents that challenge and stretch my own perspective. That's how we create an even better NRH!"
As a third generation Texan, I’m a family man, active parishioner at Church at the Cross Grapevine, and leader in student ministry. I volunteer with life task force which advocates for new life, foster/adopted children, trafficking survivors and their families. This is my first time seeking public office, so I bring a fresh, outside perspective to the council.
I’m a small business owner who understands the need to budget, the burden of excessive regulation and how to attract people to a product-- in this case, our great city of North Richland Hills.
I’m a former naval officer who has a deep sense of responsibility for serving our country and defending the Constitution with limited government principles. The call to serve is an inherent quality Blake incorporates into every aspect of his personal and professional career. Good Leaders hear the needs of the community-- While Great Leaders do something about those needs.
